Verto GeForce 9600 GT Graphics Card introduced by PNY Technologies

An announcement was made today by PNY Technologies®, Inc. revealing immediate availability of the Verto™ GeForce® 9600 GT 512MB graphics card. Based on the NVIDIA® GeForce® 9 Series of GPUs, this card is designed to support Microsoft Windows Vista™ Premium as well as Microsoft® DirectX® 9 (DX9) and DirectX 10 (DX10) for current and next-generation PC gaming.

The Verto 9600 GT is an attractive addition for high-resolution graphics and playing 3D games with double the memory capacity and bandwidth compared to previous generation cards. And when you add 2GB or 4GB PNY gamer memory, systems can run the latest DX 10 games at the fastest frame rates, smoothly and without issue.

“For under $200, this graphics card is easy on the wallet but really performs,” said Nicholas Mauro, senior marketing manager for PNY Technologies, pc components. “With double the memory capacity and bandwidth compared to previous generation cards, the Verto 9600 GT is an attractive addition for high-resolution graphics and playing 3D games. And when you add 2GB or 4GB PNY gamer memory, systems can run the latest DX 10 games at the fastest frame rates, smoothly and without issue.”

PNY’s Verto GeForce 9600 GT features 512MB of GDDR3 frame buffer memory and a 650 MHz core clock; a memory bandwidth of 57.6 GB/s and texture fill rate of 20.8 Bil/sec. The PNY Verto GeForce 9600 GT supports NVIDIA SLI™ technology for up to 2x the performance of a single graphics card and is designed to run with the PCI Express® bus architecture.
