UpCode announced they are the winner of the Best Mobile Application Award in the Enterprise category in the annual the world's leading competition for innovative business plans and cutting-edge applications and services in the mobile environment, ‘Mobile Rules! 08’ competition.

Leaders in emerging mobile applications, technologies and business models, announced at the exclusive Mobile Rules! 08 Awards Ceremony, were recognized for creating new value, revenue and exciting services and applications for mobile workforces and the mobile lifestyle. The second annual competition ended after an eight-month selection process in the three competition tracks.

Best Mobile Application award winners were judged on the basis of uniqueness, ease-of-use, design and overall end-user experience and their ability to utilize the unique enablers of Nokia mobile device platforms.

“We have always believed in convergence enabled by physical interaction with the digital world. Winning this award from Forum Nokia is real world validation that we’re on the right track; and we are looking forward to deploying more solutions in the near future such as "All In the Movie", the first interactive feature film using our mobile access and interaction technology." Cavitt added, “We believe the future will be about untethered physical world interaction. UpCode creates real world solutions that enable access, interactivity, and community, conveniently”, stated Jerald Cavitt, UpCode USA CEO.

Best Mobile Application award winners, selected by a jury comprised of representatives and sponsors, were chosen from among a group of finalists in each of the mobile applications categories.

Vice President, Forum Nokia, Tom Libretto, said: “Nokia is very pleased to recognize UpCode Parking as the Best Mobile Application in the Enterprise category and a member of an exclusive group of innovators selected as top-prize winners in our second annual ‘Mobile Rules!’ competition”.
