Providing millions of video creators access with fully licensed music from the DashGo catalog of independent artists and labels, the world's most popular online video community, YouTube™, has added the library of digital music distribution firm DashGo.
Through YouTube's free AudioSwapTM tool, the DashGo music catalog on YouTube will be accessible for users. Allowing users to automatically add licensed music to their YouTube videos, AudioSwap is a new YouTube feature. With great musicians, - up-and-coming artists including Coconut Records, Jason Damato and Fallbrooke and superstars like The Pharcyde and Young MC from Delicious Vinyl - YouTube users will enjoy access to a huge library of popular tracks.
DashGo CEO, Ben Patterson, declared: "Our clients, the independent label, band and content owner expects DashGo to distribute music everywhere online." He added: "This agreement is exciting because it gives our partners the ability to share their music with more people than ever before and to generate more revenue from their digital rights."
DashGo's platform now offers sound recording copyright owners and composition owners full YouTube claiming, tracking and monetization ability. In order to administer their music rights on YouTube in addition to traditional digital music stores, bands, labels, music publishers and other audio copyright holders can use DashGo.
