Zenprise announced that the industry leader for strategic technology information, eWEEK, has named Zenprise for BlackBerry® the winner in eWEEK's 8th annual Excellence Awards program in the Mobile and Wireless category.

The benchmark by which enterprise IT professionals can assess a wide range of technology products and services is provided by the eWEEK Excellence Awards program. The entries this year were judged by a panel of eWEEK editors. They applied their industry and technology expertise to their evaluation of the hundreds of products and services entered into the program.

Debra Donston, eWEEK Editor, declared: "All of this year's entrants truly leverage the latest technologies and computing models to provide solutions that effectively align with business needs." She added: "The eWEEK Excellence Awards judges were duly impressed."

CEO of Zenprise, Jayaram Bhat, commented: "IT administrators have enough systems to monitor." He concluded: "By automatically troubleshooting end user issues across the BlackBerry environment, Zenprise makes it simple enough for even the junior level IT staff to monitor the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server (BES). Having Zenprise for BlackBerry recognized by eWEEK is a testament to the end to end value we deliver to our customers."

Across the entire BlackBerry environment, Zenprise software automatically troubleshoots end user issues. Zenprise, unlike traditional BlackBerry monitoring solutions, identifies the root cause of user issues and provides detailed resolution instructions to fix these problems. Zenprise, in addition to monitoring BES, is the only solution that also checks wireless network availability, WAN/LAN network performance, BlackBerry SRP availability, Active Directory health, carrier availability, and overall Microsoft Exchange server health.
